Tammy Guzman – Registered Dental Hygienist
I was born in Salem, Oregon and graduated from High school in 1983. I joined the U.S. Army and was trained as a dental assistant and spent 2 years at Ft Hood, Texas where I met my husband and have been married for 34 years. I worked as a dental assistant in the private sector for 17 years. I have practiced in Texas, Virginia, Oregon and Florida.
In 1996 I went back to school to get my A.S. degree and became a dental hygienist. I graduated from Santa Fe Community college in Gainesville, FL in 2000 and have been practicing dental hygiene for 18 years.
I have been with Village Dental for 13 years and absolutely LOVE working with the doctors and staff here. It is by far the best dental practice that I have ever worked for.
My favorite part of my job is getting to know my patients and talking with them about their families and life experiences. One of the best things about working here in The Villages is the knowledge and experience that my patients pass down to me each and every day.
In my spare time I love to spend time with my family as I am fortunate to have my children and grandchildren close by. I have 3 children, 2 boys and 1 girl and 4 grandchildren, 2 boys and 2 girls. We enjoy barbecuing, hanging out at the pool, and visiting the local theme parks. I also enjoy reading and watching movies with my husband.
Here at Village Dental we are all one big family and I like to treat my patients like an extension of that family. I am located at the Fieldcrest Drive location and look forward to meeting many new people who can further enrich my life , and brighten my day!

Beth Hards – Registered Dental Hygienist
I graduated from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry ‘s dental hygiene program, located in Columbus, Ohio. I also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education.
I have been practicing as a dental hygienist for over 30 years. I received my certification to administer local anesthesia at the University of Florida approximately 5 years ago. I have been very fortunate to work the last ten years at Village Dental. I enjoy the family-like atmosphere and the caring and gentleness we provide our patients.
I have been married for many years to my husband, another Ohio State graduate. Upon his graduation in the 80’s, we moved from Ohio to Orlando, Florida with the navy. We have been blessed with four amazing daughters, four fantastic sons-in-law, and four wonderful grandchildren so far.
I was born and raised in Ohio, the 2nd of 10 children. I belong to Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in Orlando and have been actively involved as a eucharistic minister there over the past 25 years.
After many years, I still thoroughly enjoy working as a dental hygienist. It is extremely rewarding to have the opportunity to help patients with their dental care, and to build relationships at the same time.
In my leisure time, I love spending time with my husband and family. I especially enjoy the beach and pool during the summer months. I also enjoy biking, walking, yoga, cooking, reading, and special time with my grandchildren.
Holly Dickerson – Registered Dental Hygienist
I remember back when I was in 7th grade wanting to be a Dental Hygienist. My Aunt lived with us while she attended Valencia Community Colleges Dental Hygiene program in 1985. I looked up to her and loved to help her study! 10 years later, I followed in her footsteps. I graduated from Valencia’s Dental Hygiene program in 1997.
Shortly after graduating from dental school, I got married to my wonderful husband, Judd. We have been married for 21 years and have two awesome boys, Gavin, age 17 and Landon, age 13. They keep us busy with baseball, basketball, beach days, charter school activities, and plenty of fun on our free weekends. We have a cool dog named Mako who’s quickly become a huge part of our family.
I have been a Hygienist for 21 years and LOVE my job! Over all those years I’ve not only cleaned thousands of teeth, but have formed thousands of great relationships with my patients, too. My recall patients become family and the staff I work with has also become family. I feel blessed to work with such a great group of girls and wonderful dentists.
My favorite part of being a hygienist is making my patients feel clean enough to smile with confidence. It is such a rewarding feeling seeing the before and after with all of my patients!
I was able to attend The University of Florida’s Anesthetic course to get my certification for local anesthetic. Keeping my patients comfortable is my main goal!
Thank you for allowing me to make your Hygiene experience at Village Dental full of comfort, care and compassion!

I grew up in Southern California before moving permanently to Central Florida in 2004. While in college I worked in customer service in The Villages until I began my career in dentistry as a dental assistant in 2009. I was pleased to discover a passion for dentistry and patient care, so I chose to further my career in the dental field and graduated from Valencia College’s dental hygiene program in 2014. My goal every day is to provide top-notch dental care while making the experience fun!
When I’m not practicing dentistry I enjoy relaxing with my family, reading, or exploring different art forms to express my creativity. I Looking forward to meeting you soon!
